JOOOOUURRRNAL TIME! YAY!

Day one: 12/3/07

So today is when we actually got the idea of what to do on this project. Mrs. Jansen came to class and explained to us how to make this website and how to set up the information and make a bibliographey and such things.  We were taught how to make these journal entries and how to set up a time line for our work. So it was pretty much like a training day on the first day of your job. But know at least we know what to do right?

Day Two: 12/4/07

Today was our first day to work on it in class. My partner Stina and I worked on the time line of work that is due tom. I did a little research and found really only one usable site. But Stina is still a little skeptical because it is a Wikipedia site. All the information looks okay to me though. I still need to get a lot more research done though. Our goal is to be finished with all the research by the end of the week.

Day three:12/5/07

Nothing. Lab report. Mrs. Jansen talked about websites that give false info. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM FOLKS!!!

Day four:12/6/07

So we were supposed to be doing a lob report today. But the stuff hasn’t come in yet so there was no way to do it. Therefore, no lab. So we worked on our project some more in class. I found another good site. Stina and I answered some questions about our bacteria. Like history and how they reproduce and such. Fun stuff.

12/6/07

Extra research day. Not sure if I found useful website or not. It had the name of lots of medicines on it, but I couldn’t really understand it. I’m not sure it will be all that helpful, but I will check later.

12/7

We did a lab in class today, so no research in class was done. But later I went back to the site I found yesterday and did one of those web site evaluation sheets. I need to do a lot more too though. I’ll get to work on that.

12/8 & 9

Weekend! I filled out some more sheets and tried to do somemore research, but most of the websites I found were really out of date, and that means I couldn’t get up to date info, which really doesn’t help me very much.

Had a lab report for homework that took up a lot of my bio time. Managed to find one website, that I think is ok. I’ll run a check on it later.

12/11

Last day in class to work on project. Stina and I really need to find a time to work on it outside of school. Found info on the guy who discovered Streptomyces. He was a nobel prize winner. Cool huh? Sina found a website on an important antibiotic. Gotta run tests on more web sites.

12/12

I really didn’t do that much today. I went to check out or page and noted that the front picture that I put up and sited correctly wasn’t there, and I was all, “Whaaaa?” But later stina called my to tell me that we could work together on Fri and I aked her why and she said the coding was all messed up. So I was like, “ok.” So I need to find a new pic to put on the page. Hopefully we can draw one.

BIG HUGE LAB REPORT DUE TOMORROW ! NO TIME FOR WORK ON WEB SITE!!!

12/14/07

So right now, I am at Stina’s house polishing and putting the final stuff on our web site. We will most likely draw some pics to put up on there. I really want an A!! (hint hint) But so yah. Only two more days till project is due!!

ALMOST DONE! filled out more evaluation forms and emailed our teacher to find out what the "audience evaluation" is. Plus i finally updated my notes! YAY! theres not much there but i will get more tomorow. ONE MORE DAY!
